A Frozen Moment.

Hudson’s abstract, multi-layered paintings never begin with a preconceived end point and create a mood that is meant to be open to the interpretation of the viewer. When describing his work, he often quotes William S. Burrough’s explanation of his novel’s title Naked Lunch: “The frozen moment when everyone sees what is on the end of every fork.” There’s no faking the end result and the paint applied to his large-scale canvases.
